The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for displaying, on a medical image, a point adjusted in position according to a type of a caliper to be used to measure an object. The method comprises the steps of: acquiring a medical image of an object; setting measurement items and a type of a caliper for the object; selecting a point on the medical image on the basis of an external input; adjusting the position of the selected point on the basis of the set type of the caliper; and displaying the point adjusted in position on the medical image.
