The present invention relates to a method for determining the origin of marine species, which measures a stable isotope ratio of carbon and nitrogen and accordingly resolves errors that the fish can be wrongly identified due to the same genetic information, thereby examining native fish or foreign fish through a stable isotope analysis method using carbon and nitrogen included in fish, comprising the steps of a) selecting fish to be examined, freezing and drying the same, and crushing samples thereof; b) removing lipid from the crushed samples; and c) determining where fish comes from by removing inorganic carbon and analyzing a stable isotope ratio. The method prevents errors caused by which fish has the same genetic information, even if fish lives in different places, provides accurate information on the fish, and accordingly builds a foundation system for scientifically and rationally examining fish.
|
