<p>An emergency breaking device for an elevator of an aerial-ladder fire engine is disclosed. The present invention relates to an emergency breaking device for an elevator of an aerial-ladder fire engine capable of preventing an elevator from falling if a wire connected to lift the elevator along a ladder is cut. According to the present invention, the emergency breaking device for an elevator of an aerial-ladder fire engine comprises: a wire having one end connected with an elevator of the aerial-ladder fire engine and the other end connected with a driving unit to lift the elevator; a plurality of links connected with one end of the wire to maintain the appropriate position by tensile of the wire; a spring having one end connected with the links and the other end fixed to the elevator to provide elastic force to rotate the links at an emergency braking position if the wire is cut; a brake shaft connected with the links and rotated by receiving the rotating force of the links; and a plurality of friction cams fixed to the brake shaft and pressuring a ladder rail to a friction pad when the brake shaft is rotated.</p> |
