The invention relates an apparatus for detecting defects of head of a stylus pen capable of minimizing a defective products and maximizing productivity by automating a detection process of defects of the head of the stylus pen, and more particularly to, an apparatus for detecting defects of a head of a stylus pen which detects defects of a head of a stylus pen by determining whether or not a magnetic substance and a desired magnetic force thereof exist in the head of the stylus pen through measurement of the magnetic force of the magnetic substance inserted into the head of the stylus pen. The apparatus comprises a conveyor belt having a plurality of holders, into which a head of a stylus pen are inserted, seated on the top surface thereof and transferring the holders; a pickup unit installed in one side of the conveyor belt and seating the head of a stylus pen; a measurement unit for receiving the holders into which the head is inserted through the conveyor belt and measuring a magnetic force of a magnetic material inserted into the head; a defect ejecting unit for receiving the holders into which the head is inserted after completing the measurement of the magnetic force of the magnetic material in the head and ejecting a defective head with a magnetic force value different from a predetermined magnetic force value as a result of measuring the magnetic value through the measurement unit; and a normal head ejecting unit for receiving the holder which has the defective head ejected therefrom and ejecting the remaining normal head.
