The invention relates to an ultrasonic device for evaluating the flow of a melt of polymer and composite polymer materials which can be used in academic environment in research, in chemical industry and in the polymer material processing industry by using microvibration with ultrasound frequency in order to increase the flow rate and reduce the processing defects. The claimed device has an ultrasonic assembly consisting of a piezoelectric transducer (), a cylindrical sonotrode () with cone-shaped head, a nipple () and a ring () made of heat-resistant silicone rubber with sealing and centering role for the ultrasonic assembly in relation to the extruding die which ensures also the flowing interstice, a support () of the ultrasonic assembly, where some threaded pins () and a fine-pitch screw - nut mechanism () ensure the fastening and the positioning of the ultrasonic device, the reduction and even the elimination of the thermal transfer between the body of the ultrasonic device and the extruding die being achieved by means of a thermal insulation element () made of textolite and two distance plates () which are positioned by means of some guides () with threaded head which are fixed, in their turn, on the body of the ultrasonic device in some threaded bores, the fastening of the cooling system on the ultrasonic device body being performed by means of some quick connections ().
|
