1. A calculation method executed by a computer, the calculation method comprising:
calculating, using a processor, for a first module that represents a circuit and includes a plurality of second modules that each include devices and are connected to one another, a length of one side of a second module from among the second modules based on an area of the second module; and calculating, using the processor, a length, as a wiring length of the first module, based on the calculated length and a number of fan-outs of the first module, the wiring length of the first module representing a total of lengths of wirings by which the second modules are connected to one another.
