Disclosed is a method for treating an MMT message for performing ARQ of a terminal. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: connecting a network between a media terminal and a media storing server by transmitting an ARQ constitution message to the media terminal; simultaneously transmitting data packets to the media terminal and media storing server through the media server; checking damaged data packets by analyzing the data packets in the media terminal, and transmitting an ARQ feedback message to the media storing server to request retransmission of the damaged data packets; and retransmitting the damaged data packets through the media storing server.
