A fuel cell comprises stacked unit cells each including a first separator and a second separator sandwiching an electrolyte electrode assembly. The electrolyte electrode assembly includes an electrolyte interposed between a anode and a cathode. The fuel cell further comprises a fuel gas flow field and an oxygen-containing gas flow field. A coolant flow field is formed between the unit cells at intervals. At least one of the separators includes a first seal for preventing leakage of the fuel gas, a second seal for preventing leakage of the oxygen-containing gas, and a third seal for preventing leakage of the coolant. The seals are offset from one another in a stacking direction and are integral with each other. The triple seal structure may improve the sealing feature. |
