<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a vehicle ignition system which takes into account a clutch switch failure. According to one aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle ignition system which takes into account the clutch switch failure comprises: a failure detection unit to detect failure of a clutch switch based on a state of a power and clutch switch; an ignition lock control unit to put a vehicle in an ignition-lock mode when failure is detected in a clutch switch; an ignition unlock determination unit to determine whether a vehicle satisfies the requirements to unlock the ignition-lock mode based on the power state, clutch switch, and battery; and an ignition unlock control unit to unlock the ignition-lock mode when a vehicle is determined to satisfy the requirements to unlock the ignition-lock mode.</p> |
