The present invention relates to a cosmetic omposition including red ginseng butter. The present invention includes a step of extracting red ginseng oil; a setp of refininig the red ginseng oil; and a step of hardening the red ginseng oil by adding a hydrogen addition reaction to the extracted red ginseng oil. The red ginseng butter does not contain heavy metals and toxic substances and has a moisturinzing effect and an antacid effect. The red ginseng butter is also suitable for an oil texture for cosmetics by having a meling point of the temperate of 40 degrees. Therefore, the red ginseng butter according to the present invention can be used for an active ingredient for cosmetic composition or for moisturizing.
