An embodiment of the present invention provides a gearshift control method and system capable of providing gear and pattern of gearshift adequate for a current driving condition based on information of engine and vehicle and yet, considering the level of air pressure in tires to prevent unnecessary overtorque and frequent shifting of gears in a specific driving condition and also, improve fuel efficiency and gearshift performance in order to provide a more comfortable driving experience for a driver.
