A cooling apparatus and a cooling method utilizing the same are disclosed. The disclosed cooling apparatus includes a compressor compressing a refrigerant; a condenser liquefying the high-temperature/high-pressure refrigerant compressed in the compressor; an expander making the refrigerant in the condenser into a low-temperature/low-pressure refrigerant; an evaporator receiving the refrigerant of the expander to exchange heat between the low-temperature/low-pressure refrigerant and external air to evaporate the refrigerant; and a cooling unit for cooling ambient air to exchange heat between the cooled air and the refrigerant of the condenser.
