Disclosed are a method for forming a surface decoration of a molded product and a surface decoration structure of the molded product. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is the method for forming a surface decoration of a molded product which comprises: a thermal transfer foil layer forming step of forming a thermal transfer foil layer on the surface of a molded product; a printed layer forming step of forming at least one printed layer on top of the thermal transfer foil layer; and a UV ink layer forming step of forming a UV ink layer on top of the printed layer.
