摘要 <p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide gravity harbor structure depth increase structure and method using a steel pile and excavation to reinforce the front center of a gravity harbor structure and the gravity harbor structure in order to improve the productivity of an existing gravity harbor structure and to allow a ship to come alongside the pier or to be moored. To achieve this, the gravity harbor structure depth increase method using a steel pile and excavation comprises: a step (I) of boring capping concrete and a wall for predetermined diameter and depth to form a borehole; a step (II) of inserting a steel pile into the borehole and installing a hydraulic jack on the capping concrete of the steel pile to be fixated; a step (III) of embedding the steel pile into a rubble mound with the hydraulic jack and moving the wall upwards at the same time; a step (IV) of excavating the rubble mound to a predetermined depth; a step (V) of mounting the wall which has been moved upwards on the excavated rubble mound; and a step (VI) of pouring and curing concrete on the capping concrete to form additional capping concrete.</p>
