The present invention relates to a fuse resistor and a manufacturing method thereof and, more particularly, to a fuse resistor and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of simplifying an assembly process by forming a molding part with an insertion mold and inserting and bonding a temperature fuse into a first end and a second end located in an insertion groove which is formed on one side of the molding part. Wherein, the fuse resistor is installed on an electric circuit of an electronic product to prevent the breakdown of a device due to a continuous overcurrent, an internal temperature rise, and an inrush current.
