The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle center pillar outer and a manufacturing method for the same to optimize the side collision performance of a vehicle by inducing the deformation of a center pillar and preventing the breakage of the center pillar in a side collision of the vehicle with the application of predetermined strength and rigidity to each section of components. To achieve this, the vehicle center pillar outer comprises: an upper panel part at the top; and a lower panel part at the bottom. The upper and lower panel parts are molded in a different manner. The lower tip of the upper panel part and the upper tip of the lower panel part overlap with each other to be boned and integrated.
