The present invention provides a system and method to control automatic engine start-stop. According to one aspect of the present invention, the said system in an automatic transmission system of ISG (Idle Stop and Go) vehicle releases hydraulic pressure of an oil pump operated by an engine at Idle Stop and gradually applies hydraulic pressure of an oil pump at automatic Go. Also the said system decreases an engine torque until connection between friction-coupling components in a transmission system is completed by hydraulic pressure even when a driver presses an accelerator at automatic Go.
