<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rotary shaft processing method to improve the wear resistance of a rotary shaft by forming a cured layer made of a mixture of tungsten, cobalt, nickel, and chrome on the surface of a guide roller and a shaft and wearing down the cured layer to form the cured layer again. To achieve this, the rotary shaft processing method includes a step of forming a cured layer made of an ultrahigh strength material to be joined to the outer circumference of the guide roller or the shaft to reduce wear and extend the service life. The cured layer is made of a material composed of the elements of tungsten, cobalt, nickel, and chrome. The cured layer is composed of 50% of tungsten, 10% of cobalt, 15% of nickel, and 25% of chrome. In addition to this, the cured layer can be bonded to the outer circumference of the guide roller or the shaft at a thickness of 5.3 mm.</p> |
