FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to amphibia capable to move over water and ground. Amphibia includes hull with gliding surface which contacts with water when the amphibia is gliding over water, retractable suspension device which is made capable to move from vehicle supporting position to retracted position. The retractable suspension device contains lower and upper suspension arms for each wheel which arms are pivotally connected at inner ends to carrying member inside the hull and are pivotally connected to suspension strut at outer ends. The upper suspension arm is pivotally connected to suspension strut by means of the first, upper articulated joint. The lower suspension arm is pivotally connected to suspension strut by means of the second, lower articulated joint. Suspension strut extends out of the second connection in direction from the first connection to wheel hub mounting location where the wheel hub is mounted with possibility to turn on suspension strut in location away from the first and the second articulated joints. Suspension strut being pulled out during movement over ground extends in transversal direction of hull across lateral side of the hull. Lower suspension arm remains above the upper part of gliding surface throughout the period of amphibian movement over ground.EFFECT: higher amphibia speed and manoeuvrability on water due to lack of cavities in gliding surface.25 cl, 5 dwg |
