FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to segment patch pieces of thrust plain bearings cooled by water at which at least one of the working surfaces is made from silicified graphite used mainly in electric motors that serve as the drive for main circulation pump units at NPP. A separating channel providing for the circulation of a lubricating and cooling medium on the whole contact surface, is made on the contact surface of the patch piece along the bearing radius. The separating channel divides the contact surface on the lead-in edge side up to the channel and the surface after the channel up to the exit edge with the proportion of at least 3 to 2.EFFECT: provision for more efficient heat removal from the contact zone at the operation of the proposed structure of the patch piece being the part of a thrust plain bearing of the main circulation pump unit at NPP, reduced risk of damage to antifrictioin elements from silicified graphite from thermal deformations due to uneven heat removal from the contact zone, improved manufacturability of patch pieces of stator elements of the large-sized thrust plain bearing, provision for the repairability of patch pieces of the thrust plain bearing and lower risk of fire.3 cl, 4 dwg |
