FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method of producing a multilayer nickel- and aluminium-based composite includes mechanical processing of a mixture of metal powders in a ball mill in an inert atmosphere and compacting by twisting under quasi-hydrostatic pressure on Bridgman anvils. The starting material used is a mixture of nickel and aluminium powders with purity of not less than 98% with aluminium content of 5-50 wt %. The powders are processed in a planetary ball mill with ball acceleration of 100-600 m/sand duration of 0.5-10 min. Compacting is carried out at temperature of 10-100°C, pressure of 2-10 GPa and relative turning of the anvil while twisting until achieving shear deformation ??50.EFFECT: material is characterised by a inter-phase boundary area, which increases hardness thereof.3 dwg, 1 ex |
