<p>Embodiments relate generally to a management system (124) for controlling operations of a reservoir (101). The management system (124) comprises a wireless transceiver (128) in communication with a controller (115) associated with the reservoir (101) to allow the management system (124) to communicate with the controller (115) over a communications network. The management system (124) further comprises a processor (130) for determining weather data for a particular region. The reservoir is associated with the region, determining operation instructions based on at least the weather data and capacity of at least one reservoir; and transmitting via the wireless transceiver (128) a command signal to the controller (115). The command signal includes operation instructions for activating a flow control mechanism (114) associated with the reservoir (101).</p> |
