<p>A log splitter (100) is disclosed which requires two handed operation by a user. The log splitter (100) includes a safety release member (108) operable by a first hand of a user, and a splitter activation member operable by a second hand of the user. Operation of both the safety release member (108) and the splitter activation member are required to enable log splitting operation of the log splitter (100). The splitter activation member comprises a drive release member (106) configured to trigger performance of the log splitting operation, based on power from a fly-wheel (see 440, figures 4C & 5A-C), when the drive release member (106) is actuated.</p> |
