<p>The present invention discloses a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the mobile terminal includes: a display unit which outputs a specific image in an image view mode; an extraction unit which extracts a specific area in the specific image based on a touch gesture for the specific image; and a control unit which generates a thumbnail of the specific image with the specific area extracted by the extraction unit and outputs a thumbnail list displaying the generated thumbnail to be visually distinguished from thumbnails of other images when an image preview function is executed.</p> |
