<p>Disclosed are a high strength steel wire and a method for manufacturing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the high strength steel wire is composed of 0.1-0.2 wt% of carbon, 0.3-1.5 wt% of silicone, 1.0-2.0 wt% of manganese, oxygen equal to or less than 0.0030 wt%, phosphorous equal to or less than 0.03 wt%, sulfur equal to or less than 0.03 wt%, remaining amount of iron, and impurities. A microstructure is composed of 10-20% of acicular martensite and remaining amount of ferrite (The compositions are given in area fraction).</p> |
