摘要 The present invention relates to a length adjusting device of a cable of a transmission for a vehicle, capable of being easily manufactured, installed, and operated and fundamentally preventing the separation of a cable due to vibration. The length adjusting device includes a housing including joining pipes through which the control cable penetrates and which are connected to the inside on the front and rear surfaces, L-shaped stepped grooves formed symmetrically on both sides, open top surface and closed underside, and a pair of inner grooves continued from the upper inner side to the upper side of the stepped grooves; a spring vertically formed on the inner bottom surface of the housing; a fixing member adhering to the upper part of the spring, vertically fitted inside the housing to slide and pressing the spring, formed into a U shape to be connected to the joining pipe, including multiple tooth-shaped pieces on the inner bottom surface, and fixing the front end of the cable or separating the fixed front end of the cable using the tooth-shaped pieces by vertically moving; and a disk-shaped operating member joined to the inner upper part of the housing to be able to rotate and adhere to the top of the fixing member, including locking protrusions inserted into the stepped grooves after moving along the inner grooves to be locked by the stepped grooves and protruding from both sides and a handle protruding upward from the center of the top surface.
