The present invention relates to an information providing method used in an electronic device. The information providing method includes: an operation of outputting a page including multiple information areas on a screen; an operation of moving the page on the screen in response to a scroll input; and an operation of fixing one or more of the information areas to a predetermined area when the information areas are arranged on the predetermined area; and an operation of moving the remaining information areas in response to the scroll input.
