<p>The membrane vapor barrier comprises an active layer having permeability to water vapor, which increases relative humidity surrounding, where the active layer is formed by a central sub-layer of a random copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol, and two outer sub-layers made of polyamide. The ethylene vinyl alcohol comprises 44-50 mole% of ethylene units. The barrier further comprises an air-permeable support layer present in direct contact with the active layer. The support layer is made of nonwoven air-permeable textile. A weight ratio of ethylene and vinyl alcohol/polyamide is 15:85-40:60.
