Disclosed is an isolated antibody, or an antigen binding fragment thereof, wherein the antibody or fragment comprises (a) heavy and light chain variable regions having amino acid sequences set forth in SEQ ID NOs: 61 and 62, respectively, or heavy and light chain variable regions having amino acid sequences at least 85% identical to SEQ ID NOs: 61 and 62, respectively, or (b) heavy and light chain variable regions having amino acid sequences set forth in SEQ ID NOs: 29 and 30, respectively, or heavy and light chain variable regions having amino acid sequences at least 85% identical to SEQ ID NOs: 29 and 30, respectively, or (c) heavy and light chain variable regions having amino acid sequences set forth in SEQ ID NOs: 125 and 126, respectively, or heavy and light chain variable regions having amino acid sequences at least 85% identical to SEQ ID NOs: 125 and 126, respectively, wherein the sequences are as defined in the complete specification. Also disclosed is the use of said antibodies for the treatment of hCMV infection. |
