<p>An electronically controlled power steering system of a large commercial vehicle and a control method thereof are disclosed. The electronically controlled power steering system of a large commercial vehicle provides auxiliary steering power for a steering system connected to a steering wheel through a motor of a power assist module and a separate motor; applies torque to the steering system in accordance with the steering angle and the spring strength through a rotation spring installed on the steering system; and applies a damping force and friction to the steering system through a friction and torque applying unit.</p> |
