<p>A system and method for enabling a user to execute one or more browser actions on a website by using out-of-band actions is provided. The system comprises a website, a web browser on a client device, a gateway, and a personalized device. The system further comprises an access control module that is integrated with the website on which the user wishes to perform one or more of the browser actions. The out-of-band actions occur over an out-of-band communication network which connects the gateway and the user’s personalized device. Further, the gateway in turn connects to the access control module over a network. For performing such browser actions, the method and system disclosed herein describes a simple, seamless process involving an out-of-band action. Once the process is completed over the out-of-band communication network, the access control module enables the execution of the browser action.</p> |
