<p>The present invention discloses a strip shaped valve mechanism with a drive train for an internal combustion (IC) engine. The valve mechanism comprises a pair of valves, a cam, a pair of supporters and a camshaft. The pair of valves is in the shape of a strip with a stopper one end. The pair of valves is placed over the inlet and outlet ports of a cylinder. The pair of valves crosses the inlet and outlet ports. The cam is in cylindrical structure. The cam comprises a first and a second groove structures on its outer surface. The cam is connected between the pair of valves. The pair of supporters is connected to the cam at one end and a cylinder head of the IC engine at other end. The camshaft is supported by the pair of supporters through the cylindrical cam.</p> |
