<p>Automated system and method for telepsychiatry described herein. An automated telepsychiatry system (105) receives screening inputs corresponding to a set of screening parameters. Based on the screening inputs corresponding to the set of screening parameters and identification rules, one or more diagnostic units (150) to be invoked may be identified. The diagnostic units (150) may be invoked to obtain at least one diagnostic inference, based on diagnostic criteria. Further, the diagnostic inference is indicative of a psychiatric disorder. Based on treatment rules, a procedure to treat the psychiatric disorder indicated is provided.</p> |
