Disclosed is an apparatus and a method to examine an inner surface crack. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus to examine an inner surface crack comprises: an ultrasonic wave module to transfer ultrasonic waves to an inner part of an object body through an ultrasonic wave probe, and to receive a returned ultrasonic wave signals back from a crack formed on an inner surface of the object body; and a signal analyzing module to calculate a depth of the crack by analyzing the returned scattered ultrasonic waves.
