The invention aims at providing an elevator lift cage and an elevator device capable of detecting the clamped rope-like foreign matters regardless of the size thereof. In the elevator lift cage and the elevator device of the invention, the lift cage is arranged upon the lift cage frame, with a rubber vibration insulator arranged between the lift cage and the lift cage frame. The front end of the single-opened lift cage door is provided with a pressure-sensitive sensor, with the pressure-sensitive sensor being configured to be opposite to the front column of the lift cage when the lift cage door is in the closing state. A scooping-up board is arranged at the front end of the lower part of the lift cage door and the lower part of the front column of the lift cage. In the elevator lift cage and elevator device, the front column of the lift cage is provided with a tilting part. When observed inside the lift cage, the position of the tilting part located upon the front part of the lift cage is closer to the interior than the position of the surface revealed in the lift cage chamber when the lift cage is closed. The overlapped amount of the lift cage door and the front column of the lift cage in the closing/opening direction of the elevator door is smaller than the size of the gap between the lift cage door and the front column of the lift cage. |
