<p>According to the present invention, a vehicle headlight control device comprises: a camera to receive an image on a road in the front side of a vehicle; an illuminance detection part to detect the illuminance around the vehicle; a headlight control part to generate a signal for turning on or off a vehicle headlight; and a control part which determines whether a tunnel exists in the front side of the vehicle based on the brightness of a first area on the road image received by the camera and the illuminance detected by the illuminance detection part and controls the headlight control part to generate a signal for turning on or off the vehicle headlight in accordance with the detection result.</p> |
