PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel separator structure for a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; an electrolyte; a first separator; and a second separator. The first separator and the second separator are provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The first separator has first holes, and the second separator has second holes. The nonaqueous secondary battery is arranged so that the first holes are different from the second holes in size, otherwise the volume percentage that the first holes account for in the first separator is different from that the second holes account for in the second separator.
