PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire inner liner that can have both tire moldability and tire durability, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a tire inner liner which is formed of a cylindrical film made of a thermoplastic material obtained by inflation molding, and the cylindrical film has a ratio of 1.35-1.80 of tire peripheral breaking strength to tire widthwise breaking strength. Further, a pneumatic tire is obtained by extruding and molding the cylindrical film having a ratio of 1.35-1.80 of breaking strength in a direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction to breaking strength in the extrusion direction through inflation molding using the thermoplastic material, molding a green tire by installing the obtained cylindrical film on a molding drum with the tire width in the extrusion direction, and subjecting the green tire to vulcanization molding. |
