PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization unit allowing for retarded degradation of a sterilization agent in a cartridge or a tank with an extraction tube inserted therein.SOLUTION: The sterilization unit which extracts a sterilizing agent from a cartridge so as to sterilize an object includes: an extraction tube for extracting the sterilizing agent from the cartridge; and transfer means which transfers the extraction tube such that the position of the extraction tube relative to the cartridge when the extraction tube extracts the sterilization agent in the cartridge and the position of the extraction tube relative to the cartridge when the extraction tube is in standby for the extraction of the sterilization agent from the cartridge are different from each other.
