PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle incorporated with a variable valve device and an internal combustion engine with a smaller delay in response even during catalyst warm-up period.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 200 performs: executing first control (first warm-up control) for warming up a catalyst 112S rapidly when a catalyst warm-up is requested; then executing second control (second warm-up control) with an output of an engine 100 as a given value; controlling, when the catalyst warm-up is completed, the engine 100 by executing third control for controlling a VVL device 400 on the basis of a revolution speed of the engine 100 and required torque; and controlling, during executing the second control, the VVL device 400 so that, while suppressing the output of the engine 100 to the given value, at least one maximum value of an amount of lift and working angle of an intake valve 118 is decreased proportionately with a magnitude of a required output and controlling a motor so as to share an amount of change of the required output. |
