<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container which can be easily pierced by a straw when used and which is hard to be broken at a seal portion of a drink port at the time of tab tape sealing after charged, so that it can be stored for a long time, and a method for manufacturing the paper container.SOLUTION: A paper container is characterized in that a paper layer forming a top surface plate (3) is provided with a drink port hole (7) extending through a paper layer (5), and a straw hole (8) extending through the paper layer. The top surface plate is formed on the inner face and the outer face of the paper layer with a film layer containing a gas barrier layer, and the film layers on the inner and outer faces are extended in the drive port hole from the end face of the paper layer and are thermally sealed, so that the end faces of the paper layer are covered to form a drink port (9). The drink port is sealed with a tab tape (10) having a gas barrier layer. The straw hole extends through a film layer (4) of the outer face and is sealed by a film layer (6) of the inner face.</p> |
