PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat accumulation system with high system efficiency and a heat accumulation system control method.SOLUTION: A heat accumulation system S includes: a temperature-humidity sensor 34 detecting a temperature and a humidity of outdoor air; a heat accumulation tank 22 storing cold water and accumulating heat; a refrigerating machine 21 transferring cold to the cold water flowing into the refrigerating machine 21 from the heat accumulation tank 22; a cold-water primary pump 23 pumping the cold water up from the heat accumulation tank 22 toward the refrigerating machine 21 and returning the cold water, to which the cold is transferred in the refrigerating machine 21, to the heat accumulation tank 22; and a controller 40 controlling the refrigerating machine 21 and the cold-water primary pump 23. The controller 40 changes at least one of a set temperature of the refrigerating machine 21 and a flow volume of the cold-water primary pump 23 so as to increase system efficiency depending on the temperature and humidity of the outdoor air detected by the temperature-humidity sensor 34. |
