PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately manage logs by generating a log from a print job uniquely managed by an application, and associating the log with a log generated by a main body function.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus which acquires a print job to be received from an external device by a print application before acquiring the print job by a main body function, and stores the print job, a print log is generated according to the attribute information of the print job stored, and the print log is transmitted to a management device. While, in an image forming apparatus which has executed printing, the identification information of the print job of a print log generated therein is rewritten to the identification information used in the print log when the print job is stored, and the rewritten print log is transmitted to the management device. |
