PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus configured to prevent reduction in quality of an image formed, while ensuring a predetermined service life, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus includes: a developer carrier which develops an electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrier which carries an electrostatic latent image on a surface, by use of developer; and two developer supply members for supplying developer stored in a developer storage to the developer carrier. Each of first and second developer supply members is arranged in contact with the developer carrier, in a position facing the developer carrier. The first developer supply member is arranged downstream of the second developer supply member in a developer-carrier rotation direction. A first amount of contact of the first developer supply member in contact with the developer carrier is smaller than a second amount of contact of the second developer supply member in contact with the developer carrier. |
