PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a panoramic image by efficiently utilizing a region in an imaging part. ! SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging part; a compound-eye optical system which is arranged between a subject and the imaging part and has a plurality of lenses; and an image composition part in which, on the imaging part via the respective lenses of the compound-eye optical system, a plurality of image domains obtained by dividing a field are image-formed, the formed images in the respective image domains are composed and a panoramic image is composed. On the imaging part, the respective lenses of the compound-eye optical system are constituted so that at least two image domains are image-formed on the line perpendicular to the line in the division direction of the field. !
