<p>The present invention relates to a light diffusion film and, more particularly, to a light diffusion film, positioned on a viewing side of a liquid crystal panel, comprising a substrate and a light diffusion layer including hollow particles. When a light source is disposed on the front surface on the substrate side and light is irradiated, compared to the light transmitted in a perpendicular direction to the light diffusion layer, the intensity of the transmitted light measured at a direction deviating from the perpendicular direction by 5° is 10% or greater, and the light diffusion layer has a haze of 10% or greater. Accordingly, the light diffusion layer has sufficient light diffusibility even when used exclusively. Thus, the light diffusion film enables a liquid crystal display device comprising the same to exhibit uniform color and brightness on a whole screen without a light diffusion plate on the backlight unit side, to have excellent light efficiency, and to be thinner and lighter.</p> |
