A system includes a moisture analyzer (10) configured to detect moisture in a process gas. The moisture analyzer (10) includes an absorption cell (20) that encloses and conducts the process gas. The moisture analyzer (10) also includes a pressure control device (38) that may reduce a pressure of the process gas inside the absorption cell (20). The moisture analyzer (10) includes a light emitting device (12) that may transmit light (14) through the process gas inside the absorption cell (20), as well as a photodetector (26) that may detect an intensity of the light transmitted through the process gas and exiting the absorption cell (20).
