<p>Provided in the present invention is a tire pressure monitoring apparatus comprising a wheel speed sensor measuring rotational speed of a wheel; a first decompression determining part determining decompression of a tire by receiving rotational speed information of the wheel from the wheel speed sensor, and comparing the rotational speed of each wheel; and a second decompression determining part determining decompression of the tire by receiving rotational speed information of the wheel from the wheel speed sensor, and calculating the frequency characteristics of each wheel from the same, wherein the first decompression determining part and the second decompression determining part determine decompression of the tire by using a support vector machine (SVM), thereby making a correct determination using SVM, when determining decompression of tire in an indirect method.</p> |
