PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method capable of determining the position of a specific object based on a feature amount extracted from a composite image of photographic images taken from different viewpoints.SOLUTION: The information processor extracts a feature amount from a composite image composed of photographic images taken from different viewpoints, and performs a position determination processing of a specific object based on the extracted feature amount. A feature amount extraction section performs a feature amount extraction processing applying an alienation type filter in which filter forming areas are set to be separated from each other. The feature amount extraction processing is performed by setting the respective filter areas of the alienation type filter to each of the two images of the composite image. A specific object recognition section performs the position determination processing of the specific object based on a score which is obtained by composing feature amounts each applied with a different alienation type filter extracted by the feature amount extraction section. |
