PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical instrument having good space efficiency while achieving simple tracking adjustment of a lens.SOLUTION: The optical instrument includes a first holding member that holds a lens and a second holding member that holds the first holding member, in which one holding member of the first and second holding members includes a plurality of adjusting members having a plurality of adjusting planes with different positions in an optical axis direction; and the other holding member different from the one holding member includes an abutting part that abuts one of the plurality of adjusting planes. The other holding member is rotatable with respect to the other holding member. The plurality of adjusting members includes a first adjusting member and a second adjusting member that is adjoining to the first adjusting member in a first rotation direction of the one holding member. An adjusting plane among the plurality of adjusting planes of the first adjusting member, disposed farthest along the first rotation direction, is disposed on a side close to an adjusting plane among the plurality of adjusting planes of the second adjusting member, farthest along a second rotation direction that is an opposite direction to the first rotation direction. |
